We had a "summer birthdays" party yesterday with the bible study girls. It was so hot we were zapped of energy but still managed to eat a lot and chat it up. We haven't all been together in several months, so it was good to catch up!Best quote of the day:

"I thought this was a birthday party?!"
I feel blessed with good friends here. You need those, when you're trying to survive in the "missionary graveyard" that is Europe ... We reflected on that and other things last night, as we caught up on joys and difficulties and life developments and how things are changing with each one of us. Not sure how much longer we'll all be able to be a regular part of each other's lives, but we're thankful for the time we've been able to be so!
